We are so excited to be able to share all of our new and exciting news and offers with you via our new blog! We aim to keep up to date with the latest treatments and products on the market and the latest trends, plus share all our inside secrets and tips with you too.
This year has been an extremely busy one and it’s almost hard to believe we are nearing the end already! We always love this time of year though, the clinic is busy preparing for lots of spooky Halloween nail art requests & Christmas bookings are filling up more than ever.
Our year so far has seen the clinic absolutely buzzing with our best and busiest year to date (what an amazing achievement, go team Bodilight!).
We have welcomed a new member of staff, the amazing Debbie, who joins us from Bannatynes and is settling in really well and gaining experience in all the treatments we have to offer.
It seems you ladies really are going brow crazy and the celebrity world is no different! HD Brows are trending all over the globe and we were in ore of Little Mix’s Perrie Edwards look in this picture she posted on twitter.
It was a tough weekend for Perrie in light of THAT Insta post. While her ex Zayn cosied up with a mystery blonde, Perry snuggled up in mahoosive poloneck teamed with a make-up look that we’re pretty desperate to copy. The Little Mixer captioned her mirror selfie: “Grandad jumper, grandad hair.” And we majorly approve accessorizing her oversized, slouchy grey knit with a slicked-back side parting and fierce eye make-up. Check out those killer lashes and bold brows!
So as much as the sun is still being extremely kind to us so far we (very sadly) say farewell to summer and hello to autumn. So as we come to terms with the change of seasons here are a few of our favourite skin tips…
- A 20-minute long, boiling-hot shower might feel great on a cold day, but stick to warm or lukewarm water for 10 minutes or less. Long exposure to hot water can strip moisture from hair and skin.
- When heading into the great outdoors, dress for the weather with a hat, scarf, and gloves to avoid windburn and prolonged exposure to cold air.
- Fill up a shopping trolley full of healthy foods with monounsaturated fats and omega-3 fatty acids, such as fish, nuts, olive oil, flax, sardines, and avocados.
- Whilst you’re there, load up on vitamin C-rich produce like citrus fruit and dark leafy greens. Vitamin C can help boost the body’s production of collagen, a protein that maintains skin and other connective tissues.
Don’t forget at Bodilight we offer a FREE skin consultation where we will talk you through all the skin treatments we offer and what may suit/benefit you most. Along with a tailor-made homecare regime and advise to give you maximum benefit from our range of Environ products.
